charles is closed in the city. the veterans day parade will happen in the mount vernon area. there is a downed pole and wires. 11 minutes on the west side. here's a quick, live look at traffic. building volume on the west side at security down towards edmondson. this is 795 in the owings mills area. traffic is building but no official delay. we will keep you posted. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> we are learning new information about the resignation of david petraeus after he acknowledged an affair with his biographer. >> there will be a hearing later

this week. >> hallie jackson has the latest on the story. >> over the weekend, top leaders in congress seemed frustrated they didn't know about this sooner. we are learning more about the woman who sparked this investigation in the first place. >> we received no advanced notice. it was like a lightning bolt. >> diane feinstein said she did not know that david petraeus was resigning until it happened. >> this is something that could have had an effect on national security. >> i think we should have been told. >> an affair between the former cia director and his biographer, paula broadwell. both are married. she sent e-mails to a second woman identified as jill kelley. she is from florida. her family had been friends with the petraeuses for years. >> it just doesn't add up.

you have this type of investigation. it took quite sure months to find out of the cia director was involved -- it took four months. >> david petraeus had been scheduled to testify about the attack in benghazi. >> i do not see how you could have what happened in benghazi if general petraeus doesn't testify. >> thursday is the hearing on benghazi. on wednesday it will be the topic of david petraeus. officials will be answering questions in closed-door meetings on capitol hill. >> this marks a pretty story career for general petraeus. >> in 2007, he led the troop surge in iraq.

one person to the hospital. kim dacey has more in towson with the latest on the story. good morning. >> good morning. police are trying to figure what happened in the parking lot of the north point flea market yesterday afternoon. police said the brawl broke out around 1:00 p.m. the commotion attracted the attention of shoppers. one man was taken to the hospital after he was hit in the upper body by a rubber mallet. his injuries are not life- threatening. two more people were also hurt. they refused treatment on the scene. police do not believe the fight was preplanned. >> there were two groups of people that were involved in an altercation. we are aware there are rumors about a gang involvement, but we cannot confirm that at this time. >> two people were arrested at the scene.

the number of americans on food stamps now at a record high. more than 37 million americans need them. also the number of recipients is rising because of hurricane sandy. markets were slightly higher on friday. it was the worst week for stocks since june. a new leader in january for lockheed martin. the leader worked her way to the top. she has two sons. christopher kubasik resigned after a lengthy relationship with a subordinate.

sarah caldwell checking on your morning commute. this monday at shipping up to be a nice start. we have a new accident on the bay bridge that is blocking the right lane. we are not seeing any delays. the veterans day parade at 7:00 a.m. watch for closures along not vernon. this will happen around 7:00 a.m. this morning. closures at charles because of the was the main break. volume continues to build. eastbound traffic, not seeing a lot in terms of delays. the accident is eastbound of the right lane of the bay bridge. southbound traffic moving without the late into the tunnel.

>> welcome back to 11 news today. 6;45. two people are awaiting charges following a fight outside of a flea market. the brawl broke out just after 1:00 p.m. sunday afternoon in dundalk. two people were hurt but refused treatment. fire officials are trying to determine what sparked a house fire in severn. smoke alarms alerted the members to the fire.
